The Location:
The hotel is located on rue Joseph-de-Maistre. This places
you right in the heart of the fabled area of Montmarte.
Traditionally the home of artists, today it contains more
painters per square inch than you are likely to find anywhere
outside of an art school. The area is well served by buses
and metros. The nearest metro stations are at Abbesses,
Anvers, Blanche and Pigalle. The multi-cultural area of
Barbes is on your doorstep along with the rest of the
city.

The Area:
You'll love the view of Paris that is visible from this
hotel. The traditional narrow streets around the Sacre
Coeur are full of charm. Montmartre is a city village
full of restaurants and bars. It is just a few minutes
from the tourist shows of Pigalle and the Moulin Rouge.
Area Attractions:
You will be able to walk through the cobbled streets of
the Marais. From the hill of Montmartre at the Sacre Coeur,
you have a splendid view of all of Paris. You can gaze
down on the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the
Opera Garnier. A stroll around town will lead you past
excellent Haussmann buildings of character. A walk by
the Seine will lead you to the Pont des Arts and the islands
of Isle de la Citie and Isle St. Louis. Reward yourself
with one of the greatest art collections in the world
when you visit the Louvre. |
